★There are two models of Azores, 77 and 81, which have completely different characteristics.
They are so reliable that you can think of almost any light game with these two.
8 feet 1 inch is a "regular taper (closer to first)".
The action is mainly "riding", and for rockfish, floats and plugs are used.
It is a rod that is good at winding fishing, and can also handle light jigs.
If you use a float or a plug, the tip will respond as obediently as you can understand the wave wavelength, and will tell you the sea situation right at hand.
It bends obediently from the tip to the berry, but since it is made of a material with high recovery ability, it has power and can safely handle rockfish that plunge into the roots and unexpected large objects.
