Based on the No. 558 EZ Line Snap, it has been further specialized for the lure you will be using.
The SS size is recommended for trout micro spoons, and the SSS size is recommended for light saltwater jig heads.
The SSS is 13LB and the SS is 12LB, but the SS is the larger size.
The SS has a wide, rounded design so as not to impede the lure's swimming.
The wire diameter is also one size thinner than the regular EZ Line Snap #000.
Please note that while the weight is lighter, the strength is also weaker.
SSS is designed to be smaller than SS with the same wire diameter, but without making the shape wider, it has retained the shape of the No. 558 EZ Line Snap and shrunk it down to a more compact size, so its strength is consistent and it is stronger than SS.
